In their regular meeting held September 2, 2025, the MCRC EGC voted  to censure LD29 Chair Lisa Everett. Specifically, Chair Everett drew the vote of censure for joining with left-wing activists and Democrats to keep an illegal alien in Arizona and the United States who was denied asylum in 2005 and remained in Arizona and the United States in defiance of a judge’s order placing her into the criminal enforcement category. Other activities as LD29 chair drew the attention of the EGC and were also listed in the censure shown below.
