“Like everyone, I am shocked at today’s assassination attempt on our former President, and our current Republican Nominee, Donald J. Trump. I want to express my gratitude for those who put their lives on the line to protect President Trump, and our deepest sympathies to the families of those affected by this political violence. We the People are grateful that God spared President Trump’s life and want him to know the people of Maricopa County are praying for him and his family. We are committed to doing everything possible to ensure his election as the 47th President of the United States”
