GRIPPING MOVIE RAISES AWARENESS OF THE TRAGEDY OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING
VIEWERS INSPIRED TO TAKE ACTION, ESPECIALLY AGAINST CHILD TRAFFICKING
Blockbuster movie “Sound of Freedom” deserves special recognition for exposing the dark and disturbing world of child trafficking, Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) Chairman Craig Berland said today.
“More than just making waves, ‘Sound of Freedom’ is a crashing tidal wave, bringing critical mass attention and awareness to the bravery and determination of individuals like Tim Ballard, who risk their lives to save innocent children from unimaginable horrors.”
Acknowledging it is a difficult movie to watch, Berland notes the general reaction is, by far, positive, adding that for some unknown or untold reason, many mainstream media outlets are trying to downplay or dismiss the movie as unworthy, exaggerated, or by calling it a conspiracy theory.
Despite the mainstream media’s campaign against the movie, the growing popularity of “Sound of Freedom” also represents the $100+ million sound of Hollywood mainstream movie studios losing their grip on what the American public exercises its own freedom to see at movie theaters around the nation. And despite the usual naysayers’ opposition to the movie, Berland offers some consolation in a movie review recently brought to his attention: one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, Variety magazine, recently published a relatively fair and objective review of the movie and how people are reacting to it.
Berland encourages fellow MCRC Precinct Committeemen (PCs) and the public in general to see the movie and judge for themselves.
