MCRC CONGRATULATES JUSTIN HEAP
ON WINNING 2024 REPUBLICAN PRIMARY ELECTION FOR THE OFFICE OF MARICOPA COUNTY RECORDER
MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ – On July 2, 2024, the Maricopa County Republican Committee Executive Guidance Committee (MCRC EGG) voted unanimously to withdraw all support for the reelection of incumbent Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer. This vote was in response to Mr. Richer’s failure to adequately clean up voter rolls and his lack of any meaningful action regarding Election Integrity issues. This also follows a formal censure by the EGG on August 4, 2022 for the same reasons.
We are pleased to report that the voters of Maricopa County have agreed with our assessment of Mr. Richer’s performance and elected Justin Heap to represent the Republican Party in the upcoming General Election. We look forward to working hard to elect Justin as the next Maricopa County Recorder on November 5, 2024.
